ICBC Claims

As of April 1, 2019, Acupuncture, Chiropractic, Counselling, Kinesiology, and Physiotherapy will be fully covered by ICBC, and for Registered Massage Therapy there will be a nominal fee. In the first twelve weeks from the date of the accident, all patients are immediately covered for:

‍12 ICBC Acupuncture treatments

‍25 ICBC Chiropractic treatments

‍12 ICBC Counselling treatments

‍12 ICBC Kinesiology and Active Rehab treatments

‍25 ICBC Physiotherapy treatments

‍12 ICBC Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) treatments

These treatments are available without the need for a doctor’s referral. They will last for exactly twelve weeks after your accident date. For motor vehicle accidents dating before April 1, 2019, patients will continue to finish their allotted treatments.  If a patient requires treatment beyond the visit limit or if additional programs or services are required, the patient must consult with a physician to obtain a new doctor’s referral.
